The sharing the Future project was developed 3 years ago in 2008 following staff from Taughmonagh Community Forum and Manorhamilton Enterprise Forum being involved in the UCIT/IFI funded Networks programme supporting community enterprise within the border counties and Northern Ireland.
This saw a link created and peace funding applied for under measure 1.2 acknowleding the past.
The resultant programme saw 2 similar projects being delivered on both sides of the border and the development of parallel strategies in each community to promote mutual understanding, cross border connection, reconciliation and community relations programmes.
